The Girl Code chain hem slogan t-shirt is a handmade black tee that asks a question and then walks away from it. The front carries the line printed large across the chest: did you smoke enough to miss me, or miss me enough to smoke. At the hem, four metal chains are attached by hand, two on each side, so they swing and catch the light when the body moves. Because the chains are set by hand, no two pieces hang exactly the same way. Black keeps the shirt plain enough that the words and the hardware do all the talking. It works over denim, under a leather jacket, tucked into a mini skirt, or on its own. Available in sizes 1 and 2.
How does the sizing work? This tee uses numbered sizing, 1 and 2, rather than XS to M.
Are the chains removable? No. All four are attached by hand at the hem, two on each side, and are a permanent part of the piece.
How do I wash it with the chains on? Cold, inside out, gentle cycle. Never tumble dry and never iron over the chains.
