About this piece

The Girl Code snake print high-low skirt is a sheer polyester skirt built on a contradiction: a mini at the front and a floor length ruffled train at the back. It sits low on the hips, fits close at the waist and fastens with a side zip. A black elastic lining runs underneath the sheer print, so the front stays opaque where it needs to be while the outer layer keeps its veil-like transparency. The train is gathered into ruffles that sweep the floor and move a beat behind the body. The snake print runs across the whole skirt, dark and dense at the hem, lighter through the front panel. It works with a cropped top and heels for an evening, with a plain black bodysuit to let the print carry the look, or with boots and a leather jacket to rough it up. Available in sizes XS, S and M.

Is it see-through? The outer layer is sheer by design. A black elastic lining sits underneath the front so nothing shows that should not.

How long is the train? It sweeps the floor at the back while the front stays at mini length.

Can it go in the washing machine? Only on a delicate cycle inside a mesh bag, cold. Hand washing is safer for the ruffled train.
