The cut is palazzo: high at the waist, wide from the hip, falling long and fluid to the floor. The lacing works the whole leg rather than sitting at one point, so the line of the trouser is broken all the way down. Lightweight polyester keeps the drape moving instead of holding stiff, which is what gives palazzo its sweep. Black keeps them sharp and easy to build on.
